Bezel Setting 16 Pcs Set

This bezel setting tool comes with 16 hardened steel concave punches, perfect for bezel setting small and medium stones up to around 5 or 6 millimeters. To use this tool, choose a punch around 10-25% larger than the outside diameter of the bezel you are working with (depending on the stone size – smaller stones don’t need as much wiggle room), clamp it into the handle, and gently rotate the concave end of the punch around the top of the bezel with increasing force until the stone is set. Alternately, for harder and more durable stones, the punches can be used by striking carefully with a hammer to apply more force to bring the bezel in. The handle is sturdy plastic and the box is constructed of polished hardwood and has millimeter measurements etched into it above each punch, marking the inside diameter. The case has a strong magnetic closure. These punches have a quality finish on the inside, to minimize scratching your bezels; however, if you want the smoothest finish possible, we recommend polishing the inside of the punches to a high shine before use.
